This dual-focus training provides essential skills in both electrical and plumbing systems. Learners are introduced to safety standards, hand tools, piping systems, domestic electrical circuits, and geyser installations. Practical experience in soldering, conduit wiring, and fixture fittings is included. The course prepares participants for entry-level roles such as domestic electrician assistant, plumbing assistant, or maintenance technician assistant in residential and commercial environments.

Phase 1
- General workshop safety rules and practices
- Safety signs and colour coding
- Basic hand tools and measuring equipment
- Sanitary plumbing
- Copper pipes - Soldering and fittings
- Compression fittings
- Galvanised steel piping
- Basic electrical safety
- Electrical measuring equipment
- Socket outlet circuits
- Conduits and fittings
- Lighting circuits
- Geyser circuits
- Domestic installations
Phase 2
Duration: 4 Weeks
Minimum Group Size: 5 delegates
Entry Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
 or Mathematics Literacy
