The eCadre Training Programme is designed to equip learners with practical ICT skills to effectively support the integration of technology in schools. Participants gain experience in managing basic hardware and software issues, assisting teachers and students in digital classrooms, and facilitating access to eLearning resources. The programme also emphasises problem-solving, digital literacy, and professional conduct, ensuring that trainees are capable of contributing to a technology-enhanced learning environment. By combining technical skills with practical application, the training prepares assistants to play a key role in modern educational settings.

Programme Structure & Inclusions

Phase 1:

  • Introduction to Computers & Digital Devices
  • File Management and Typing Skills
  • Microsoft Word – Basics
  • Microsoft Word – Practical Use in Schools
  • Microsoft Word – Templates and Forms
  • Microsoft Excel – Basics
  • Microsoft Excel – Class Lists and Tables
  • Microsoft Excel – Using Excel for Marks
  • Working Between Word & Excel + Admin Skills
  • IT Skills Assessment & Simulation
Integrates various components such as classroom sessions, introductory safety workshops, and foundational theoretical modules to establish a strong educational base. As students progress, they engage in advanced practical workshops, collaborative group projects, and individual assignments designed to enhance their expertise and deepen their understanding. The initial months focuses on core trade principles, basic concepts, and essential safety practices, whereafter students advance to developing in-depth technical skills, mastering problem-solving strategies, and applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.

Phase 2:

Focused development in:

CV Writing & Interview Prep – Build a strong CV and practice answering common interview questions
Professional Conduct – Learn workplace ethics, dress code, and communication etiquette.
Time & Project Management – Manage daily tasks, meet deadlines, and work in teams.
Teamwork & Leadership – Understand roles, take initiative, and collaborate effectively
Confidence & Career Planning – Set personal goals and explore future opportunities.

Duration: 4 Weeks
Minimum Group Size: 5 delegates
