LAB ASSISTANT Academic Assistant
The Lab Assistant Training programme is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and practical skills needed to support Science and Technology educators in an effective and professional manner. The training covers the safe preparation of laboratory materials, proper handling and management of equipment, and active assistance during practical experiments. In addition, learners are guided on maintaining accurate records, organising resources, and ensuring strict compliance with health and safety protocols. This programme builds both technical competence and a strong sense of responsibility, preparing assistants to contribute meaningfully to the learning environment.

Phase 2:
Focused development in:
CV Writing & Interview Prep – Build a strong CV and practice answering common interview questions Professional Conduct – Learn workplace ethics, dress code, and communication etiquette. Time & Project Management – Manage daily tasks, meet deadlines, and work in teams. Teamwork & Leadership – Understand roles, take initiative, and collaborate effectively Confidence & Career Planning – Set personal goals and explore future opportunities.Duration: 4 Weeks
