TERTIARY EDUCATION PREPARATION Information Technology
The Information Technology stream introduces students to the essential skills needed in our digital world. It covers foundational computer literacy, including Microsoft Office tools, internet research, basic coding concepts, and digital communication. Through hands-on learning, students gain practical experience that will benefit them in both academic and workplace settings. This stream is ideal for students considering careers in IT, software development, or digital marketing, and it lays a strong foundation for further technical education.
Programme Structure & Inclusions
Programme Structure:
- Acquire essential computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital communication tools
- Develop competence in internet research, information management, and responsible digital practices.
- Gain introductory knowledge of coding concepts and the fundamentals of programming.
- Engage in practical, hands-on learning to strengthen problem-solving abilities and workplace readiness.
- Build a strong foundation for future studies and careers in IT, software development, and digital marketing.
Duration:
6 Months - 1 Year
Entry Requirements:
- 60%+ for Mathematics, Physical
 Science/Accounting, English FAL/HL;
- 60% + for any other two subjects
 excluding Life Orientation.
